Terms
Last updated October 29, 2026
These terms cover the website Webhand builds for you and the monthly care plan that keeps it running. By paying, you agree to them. Questions: [email protected].
The build
- We build a website of up to five pages from your current site, text and photos.
- You see the finished site before paying anything. You pay the build fee only once you approve it.
- The build fee is paid once, by card, through a secure Stripe checkout link. Because you approve the site before paying, the build fee is not refundable after your site is published.
- Not included: online stores, customer logins and payment systems. We can link to a booking or ordering tool you already use.
The care plan
- $40 a month covers hosting, which keeps your site online and secure, and personal help with changes by text or email.
- Included changes are everyday updates such as hours, prices, photos, text, closures and staff. New pages or a redesign are quoted separately before any work starts.
- The first $40 is charged one month after you pay the build fee, then on the same day each month, to the card you paid with. Stripe emails you a receipt each time.
Missed payments
If a monthly payment fails, Stripe retries it and we let you know. If it is still unpaid after 14 days, your site is paused until the payment goes through.
Cancelling
Cancel any time by email or text. There is no contract. Your site stays online through the month you have already paid for, and no further charges are made.
What you own
- Your domain stays in your name, and your text, photos and logo stay yours.
- Once the build fee is paid, the website is yours. If you leave, we send you its files so you can host it anywhere.
- If Webhand ever closes, we will give you at least 30 days' notice, send you your site's files and move it to a hosting account in your name at no charge.
- You confirm you have the right to use the text and photos you give us.
Our responsibility
We work to keep your site online and correct, but we cannot promise it will never go down, for example during a hosting provider outage. Our total responsibility for any problem is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before it happened.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we will email you at least 30 days before the change applies to you.
